醫學影像暨放射科學系與放射醫學科學研究所概況 Overview of the Department of Medical Imaging and Radiological Sciences and the Institute of Radiological Sciences
(一)教育宗旨及目標
總培育目標:以培養具有人文素養之優秀醫事放射師及放射學術研究人才為宗旨。期使學生具備臨床專業的放射暨影像診斷技術、放射治療技術、核子醫學診療技術、輻射安全防護技能;並建立醫學放射技術發展之基礎研究能力。
"(1) Educational purposes and objectives
Overall training goal: to develop exceptional medical radiologists and radiological academic research skills with humanistic characteristics. The purpose is to equip students with clinical professional radiology and imaging diagnostic technology, radiotherapy technology, nuclear medicine diagnosis and treatment technology, radiation safety protection skills; and establish basic research capabilities for the development of medical radiation technology.

1.在認知方面:能了解醫學放射技術應用的發展與過程,熟悉臨床放射診斷技術、磁振造影技術、超音波掃描技術、放射治療技術、核子醫學診療技術及醫學影像處理與儲傳等之正確原理與操作技巧。對於輻射安全防護,具有專業的管理知識和遵守法律之素養,並對醫學放射技術具備基礎研究及一般行政事務管理的能力。 1. In terms of cognition: be able to understand the development and process of medical radiation technology application, familiar with clinical radiation diagnosis technology, magnetic resonance imaging technology, ultrasonic scanning technology, radiation therapy technology, nuclear medicine diagnosis and treatment technology, medical image processing and correct principles of storage, transmission, and operating skills. For radiation safety protection, they have professional management knowledge and legal literacy, and have the ability to conduct basic research and general administrative affairs management of medical radiation technology.
2.在技能方面:能正確熟練的操作各類可發生游離輻射設備及放射性物質,並能運用醫學影像處理技術充分結合醫療資訊系統,對於新穎之醫療設備及技術亦具備學習應變的能力。 2. University Department:

研究所:

(1) Cultivate and provide stable medical radiologist talents in the east. It can improve the medical radiation technicians in Huadong area
To improve the quality of staff, to supplement the high-level radiation technology manpower in Huadong area, to enrich the medical team of Tzu Chi, and to promote the overall medical level of Huadong area.
(2) Emphasize the teaching of quality management of radiodiagnosis, radiotherapy and nuclear medicine.
(3) Emphasize the principle learning and clinical practice of positron computed tomography technology.
(4) Emphasize basic medical teaching of anatomy, physiology and pathology.
(5) Graduate students emphasize the teaching and practice of research methods and thesis research.
(6) Integrate the school motto of compassion, joy and giving, and cultivate graduates with rich humanistic qualities, correct professional ethics and moral concepts in terms of personality traits and professional qualities, and have a caring love for treating illnesses like relatives.
□系所辦學特色:
(1)本系所為配合教師多元化的教學方式,設有各種多媒體的電化設備,以提高學生學習興趣與效果。
(2)課程設計強調專業理論與實(驗)習並重,以促進學生對學理的理解,並培養學生職業適應的能力。
(3)與佛教慈濟綜合醫院等13所國內醫學中心、區域教學醫院建教合作,學生實習課程由學校與醫院共同完成。實習教學除了增進學生實務經驗外,並讓學生體認校訓「慈悲喜捨」的精神與內涵,以培育具有「人傷我痛」胸襟的專業精英。
(4)本系所除了著重專業知識的傳授外,並強調通識教育,尤其對學生人文素養極為重視,故經常舉辦講座,聘請學者專題演講、座談。體育課程則注重學生終身運動的培養,採興趣選項分組教學方式授課。
(5)敦聘專業專任教師均具博士學位、專業證照及部定助理教授以上資格,有教學熱忱及學術研究能力,可帶動校園的學術氣息及提高學生學習的動機。
□Features of the Department:
(1) In order to cooperate with the diversified teaching methods of teachers, the department has equipped various multimedia audio-visual equipment to improve students' learning interest and effect.
(2) Curriculum design emphasizes both professional theory and practical (experimental) practice to promote students' understanding of academic theory and cultivate students' ability to adapt to careers.
(3) Cooperate with 13 domestic medical centers and regional teaching hospitals including Tzu Chi General Hospital, and the student practice courses are jointly completed by the school and the hospital. In addition to enhance students' practical experience, the practical teaching also allows students to understand the spirit and connotation of the school motto "Compassion, Joy and Giving", so as to cultivate professional elites with the mind of "People hurts and i feel hurt too".
(4) In addition to imparting professional knowledge, the department also emphasizes general education, especially the humanistic quality of students. Therefore, lectures are often held, and scholars are invited to give lectures and seminars. The physical education course pays attention to the cultivation of students' lifelong sports, and adopts the method of group teaching with interest options.
(5) All professional full-time teachers have doctoral degrees, professional certificates, and qualifications above the ministry's assistant professor level. They have teaching enthusiasm and academic research capabilities, which can promote the academic atmosphere of the campus and improve students' learning motivation.
(二)入學資格
◆四年制醫學影像暨放射科學系:
高中(職)畢業或同等學歷(力),參加四技二專電子類聯合登記分發、推荐甄試、技(藝)能優良保送甄試及高中生申請入學錄取者,修業期限以四年為原則。
◆研究所碩士班:公私立大學、獨立學院畢業得有學士學位或具同等學歷之資格,經本所入學考試或甄試錄取者。修業年限為一至四年,但在職進修者得延長一年。
(2) Admission qualifications
◆Four-year Department of Medical Imaging and Radiology:
Those who have graduated from high school (vocational) or equivalent (force), participated in the joint registration and distribution of four-year technical and two-year junior college, recommended screening, excellent technical (art) ability guarantee examination, and high school students apply for admission, the period of study is based on the principle of four years.
◆Master's program: Graduates from public and private universities or independent colleges with a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications, and admitted through the entrance examination or screening examination of the Institute. The duration of study is 1 to 4 years, but those who study on the job may extend it by one year.
(三)現有學生人數
醫學影像暨放射科學系共有四技日間部一、二、三、四年級各一班,共有學生約202名。研究所碩士班一、二年級各一班,學生16名。
(3) The number of existing students
The Department of Medical Imaging and Radiological Sciences has one class of day school four-year technical departments in each of the first, second, third and fourth grades, with a total of about 202 students. There are 16 students in the first and second years of the master's class of the Institute.

(1)課程特色:
①課程安排:包括醫學影像技術、放射治療技術及核子醫學技術三個專業領域,並安排完整之科目和課程學分時數。
②教學特色方面包含:
1、人文教育與科技教育並重。
2、醫學影像相關課程配合電腦輔助教學。
3、基礎醫學課程輔以大體解剖實務教學。
4、培養學生各項放射技術攝影品管與品保之要求與訓練以及輻射安全防
護之認知與技能。
5、結合慈濟醫院人力、物力資源,課程著重臨床實務之訓練,實驗採分
組教學與個別演練。
③未來發展方面:強化醫學數位影像技術應用,結合臨床實務現況與發展,融入醫學影像攝影技術、醫學影像儲傳系統、數位醫學影像標準系統,以迎接未來臨床放射醫學數位影像傳輸以及遠距醫學之需求與趨勢。
(1) Course features:
①Course arrangement: Including three professional fields of medical imaging technology, radiotherapy technology and nuclear medicine technology, and arrange complete courses and course credit hours.
②Teaching characteristics include:
1. Equal emphasis on humanities education and science and technology education.
2. Medical imaging related courses with computer-assisted teaching.
3. Basic medical courses supplemented by practical teaching of gross anatomy.
4. Cultivate students' knowledge and abilities in the needs and quality assurance of various radiological procedures and imaging, as well as radiation safety protection.
5. Using Tzu Chi Hospital's human and material resources, the course focuses on clinical practice training, and the experiment employs group teaching and individual training.

③ Future development: strengthen the application of medical digital imaging technology, combine with the current situation and development of clinical practice, integrate medical imaging photography technology, medical image storage and transmission system, digital medical imaging standard system to meet the needs and trends of future clinical radiation medicine digital image transmission and telemedicine.
(2)課程內容:課程科目類分為基礎通識,專業基礎科目、專業核心科目(含臨床實習)、選修科目,其中選修科目又分為專業選修及通識選修。茲分別說明如下:
① 基礎通識:包括應用中文、文章與閱讀、英文、法學緒論、電腦軟體應用、中華民國憲法、慈濟人文、音樂欣賞、體育等共計二十二學分。
② 專業基礎科目:包括普通化學暨實驗、普通生物學暨實驗、普通物理學暨實驗、微積分、醫用電子電路學、放射科學與技術概論、解剖學暨實驗、電腦概論、放射物理學、放射生物學、應用數學、生理學暨實驗、放射化學、病理學等合計四十二學分。
③ 專業核心科目:包括放射診斷器材學、放射診斷技術學暨實驗、放射治療物理學、放射切面解剖學、電腦斷層與磁振造影學、超音波學暨實驗、核子醫學器材學、核子醫學藥物學、正子斷層掃描學、醫學影像處理、特殊攝影技術學、放射治療技術學、放射治療器材學、核子醫學技術學、醫學影像診斷學、醫學影像儲傳系統、醫學影像品質管制、放射診斷技術臨床實習、放射治療臨床實習、核子醫學技術臨床實習、輻射安全學暨實驗、放射技術專題討論、放射醫學實務、書報討論等共計六十三學分,其中包括臨床實習二十八週。
④選修科目:選修最低學分數為十學分,含專業選修至少六學分, 通識選修至少八學分。
"(2) Course content: Course subjects are divided into basic general studies, professional basic subjects, professional core subjects (including clinical practice), and elective subjects. Among them, elective subjects are divided into professional electives and general electives. The respective explanations are as follows:

② Professional Basic Subjects: Including General Chemistry and Experiment, General Biology and Experiment, General Physics and Experiment, Calculus, Medical Electronic Circuits, Introduction to Radiation Ccience and Technology, Anatomy and Experiment, Introduction to Computer, Radiation Physics, Radiology Biology, Applied Mathematics, Physiology and Experiment, Radiation Chemistry, Pathology, etc. total 42 credits.
③Professional Core Subjects: Including Radiological Diagnostic Equipment, Radiological Diagnostic Technology and Experiment, Radiotherapy Physics, Radiological section Anatomy, Computer Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Ultrasound and Experiment, Nuclear Medical Equipment, Nuclear Medicine Drug Science, PET Tomography, Medical Image Processing, Special Photography Technology, Radiation Therapy Technology, Radiation Therapy Equipment, Nuclear Medical Technology, Medical Imaging Diagnostics, Medical Image Storage and Transmission System, Medical Image Quality Control, Radiological Diagnostic Technology Clinical Practice, Clinical Practice of Radiotherapy, Clinical Practice of Nuclear Medicine Technology, Radiation Safety Science and Experiment, Symposium on Radiological Technology, Practice of Radiology, Book Discussion, etc. total 63 credits, including 28 weeks of clinical practice.
④ Elective Subjects: The minimum number of credits for electives is 10 credits, including at least 6 credits for major electives and at least 8 credits for general electives.
(五)師資陣容
延聘國內外大學有關放射技術、醫學影像、原子科學、醫學物理或醫學工程等科系所,具博士學位及部定助理教授以上資格,且具有可發生游離輻射設備與放射性物質操作執照及相關醫院工作實務經驗者為主。此外,並邀請慈濟醫學中心之主治醫師或資深放射師來校兼任,以充實師資陣容。
(5) Faculty Lineup
Applicants from domestic and foreign universities in departments related to radiation technology, medical imaging, atomic science, medical physics or medical engineering, with doctoral degree and departmental assistant professor or above, and with the operating license of equipment and radioactive materials that can generate ionizing radiation and relevant hospital work experience. In addition, attending physicians or senior radiologists from Tzu Chi Medical Center are invited to serve part-time at the school to enrich the teaching staff.
(六)教學研究設備與實習場所
1、在專業實驗室方面,本系設有放射技術實驗室二間、牙科攝影實驗室、電腦斷層實驗室、輻射安全實驗室、超音波實驗室、放射治療實驗室、醫學影像實驗室、核子醫學實驗室、醫學物理實驗室、細胞與分子輻射生物實驗室各一間,可讓學生學習一般X光機及電腦斷層攝影之操作、影像處理、X光片洗片及品質判讀、放射診斷器材系統組合以及臨床輻射安全防護訓練以及所有醫學影像課程線上教學等。
2、四技部學生實習場所包括花蓮慈濟、新店慈濟、大林慈濟、台大、北榮、三總、中榮、中國、新光、奇美、成大、義大等多家建教合作之醫學中心、區域教學醫院,學生可前往臨床見習、實習或進行專題研究。
3、重要設備:電腦放射攝影系統,X光片數位掃描系統、8切電腦斷層、放射治療計畫模擬系統、康普吞散射儀、多功能彩色都卜勒超音波掃描儀、影像處理開發軟體系統、生物用X光照射系統、流式細胞分析儀、微量盤分光光譜儀、電動倒立螢光顯微鏡、細胞訊號記錄器、熱發光劑量計計讀系統、影像儲存與傳輸系統、非游離輻射偵測系統、一般透視及攝影X光機、高純度鍺X光能譜儀、高純度鍺加馬能譜儀、二級標準游離腔度量儀等。
(6) Teaching and Research Equipment and Practice Places
1. In terms of professional laboratories, the department has two radiological technology laboratories, dental photography laboratories, computer tomography laboratories, radiation safety laboratories, ultrasound laboratories, radiotherapy laboratories, medical imaging laboratories, nuclear medical laboratories, medical physics laboratories, and cell and molecular radiation biology laboratories, allowing students to learn the operation of general X-ray machines and computer tomography, image processing, X-ray film development and quality interpretation, and radiological diagnostic equipment system combination and clinical radiation safety protection training and online teaching of all medical imaging courses, etc.
2. Internship places for students of the Fourth Technical Department include Hualien Tzu Chi, Xindian Tzu Chi, Dalin Tzu Chi, National Taiwan University, Beirong, Sanzong, Zhongrong, China, Xinguang, Chimei, Chengda, Yida and many other medical centers and regional teaching hospitals with educational cooperation, and students can go to clinical internships, internships or conduct special research.
3. (七)畢業生之前程發展
1、就業方面:參加考選部專門職業及技術人員高等暨普通醫事人員考試,以取得醫事放射師專業執業證照,擔任公私立醫療院所之醫事放射師等。
2、升學進修方面:四技畢業生在取得學士學位後可出國留學或報考國內放射醫學科學等相關之研究所。
3、研究生:到公私立研究所及醫療院所擔任研究人員,或擔任放射師,除臨床工作外,可參與研究工作或繼續攻讀國內外相關專業領域博士班。
(7) Future Development of Graduates
1. Employment: Participate in the examination of specialized vocational and technical personnel of the Examination Department for Advanced and General Medical Personnel, in order to obtain the professional practice license of medical radiologist and serve as a medical radiologist in public and private medical institutions.
2. Further study: After obtaining a bachelor's degree, graduates of the four-year program can study abroad or apply for domestic research institutes related to radiation medicine science.
3. Graduate students: To work as researchers in public and private research institutes and medical institutions, or as radiologists. In addition to clinical work, they can participate in research work or continue to study for doctoral courses in related professional fields at home and abroad.
(八)未來展望
1、加強國際合作與交流,厚植學術研究發展之基礎,全面提昇醫學放射技術人員之專業素養及醫療服務品質。
2、加強醫學影像之電腦輔助教學、增購各項教學儀器設備及期刊,提昇整體教學的品質與內涵。
3、加強社會服務及社區回饋,提供專業諮詢、醫技資源或教學服務等。
4、落實證照制度、建立專技人員醫事放射師考試題庫,輔導學生取得專業執業證照。
5、結合慈濟醫學中心與慈濟大學之人力、物力資源,加強臨床教學及學術研究之合作與交流。
6、 強化產學合作與業師協同教學。
7、推動系所國際化與多元文化與專業學習,選送學生海外臨床實習及志工服務學習。
(8) Future prospects
1. Strengthen international cooperation and exchanges, lay a solid foundation for academic research and development, and comprehensively improve the professionalism of medical radiology technicians and the quality of medical services.
2. Strengthen the computer-aided teaching of medical imaging, purchase various teaching instruments and journals, and improve the quality and content of the overall teaching.
3. Strengthen social services and community feedback, provide professional consultation, medical technology resources or teaching services.
4. Implement the license system, a medical radiologist examination question bank for technical personnel, and guide students to obtain professional licenses.
5. Combine the human and material resources of Tzu Chi Medical Center and Tzu Chi University to strengthen cooperation and exchanges in clinical teaching and academic research.
6. Strengthen industry-university cooperation and industry-teacher collaborative teaching.
7. Promote the internationalization, multiculturalism and professional learning of the department, and send students to overseas clinical practice and volunteer service learning.
